When most people think about a loved one who has passed, they picture distance.
Someone who was here, and now is somewhere else entirely.
I understand why we feel it that way--we literally say "passed away" to describe physical death.
Here's an important understanding — after years of facilitating these sessions, I've come to know something that changes everything about how I understand death.
We die a physical death, but our true essences merely shifts.
A shift of being, if you will.
When consciousness leaves the physical body, it doesn't relocate somewhere distant and unreachable.
It moves to a different frequency — one that exists all around us, as close as your outstretched arm.
The people you've lost aren't somewhere else. They're somewhere adjacent. Still part of the fabric of your life.
This is what I witness in readings, over and over again.
That sudden memory of someone you love that arrives out of nowhere.
The song that plays right when you're missing them. The dream that feels so vivid you wake up knowing something real just happened.
These aren't coincidences. This is consciousness communicating across dimensions in the most natural way it knows how.
We've all been there — sitting with the feeling that someone is close, and then talking ourselves out of it.
Let's be real: we live in a world that doesn't always leave room for that knowing.
So we dismiss it. File it under wishful thinking and move on.
